Duarran Gisborne was 3rd in 16-20 month class - he's looking good.
Duarran Geebung won the 18-20 month class.
In 20-24 month class Duarran Frankston came first and Duarran Flinders second.
Both Junior and Reserve Juniour Brangus Bulls were sired by Duarran bulls.
A pen of 6 Duarran Brangus X Steers entered in the Class 37- 100 day fed Paddock to Palate competition also did well, gaining a 5th in the weight gain section and 4th overall for the Sturrock Trophy - with a record 54 pens entered.
This year was the inaugural Sturrock Trophy, so named to honour the work Duncan has put in over the past 15 years feeding the cattle for this competition. It encompasses the four sections of the competition - weight gain, carcase evaluation, MSA eating quality and taste test.
A pen of Cootharaba Hereford X steers came in the top 25% also.
